It’s normal that our family jokes about having an entire refrigerator dedicated to sauces, right? When beginning Keto, I had no idea how many carbs were in most sauces that I regularly purchased. It just wasn’t something I thought about. It was shocking to me that most of the items in my refrigerator that I would pour copious amounts of into pretty much anything were loaded in sugar, and that meant they were loaded in carbs.
I’m posting these here to encourage you to try sugar free sauces because they actually taste way better than I imagined. The pictures here show some of our favorites, but I left out G. Hughes Teriyaki Marinade. If I reference a recipe with a sauce, it is usually going to be one that is sugar free, so these are a good place to start.
Some that have our family’s seal of approval:
Famous Dave’s Sugar Free BBQ Sauce, Ray’s No Sugar Added Sweet and Smoky Barbeque Sauce, Heinz No Sugar Added Ketchup, G Hughes Sugar Free Stir Fry Sauce, G. Hughes Sugar Free Steak Sauce, G. Hughes Teriyaki Marinade, and G. Hughes Sugar Free Dipping Sauce Famous Cluckin. (This tastes suspiciously like Chick-Fil-A Sauce.) As an added bonus, G. Hughes is also gluten free. I found most of these at Walmart, Food Lion, and Food City.
